Important Information About Your Account’s Security Settings

If you have not yet updated your CVF Online Banking security preferences to authenticate your account, please do so as soon as possible.

If you have already updated, we thank you for enabling us to add this extra layer of security to help protect your personal account information.

Beginning in March 2021, you will no longer receive security questions when you login to your Online Banking account at CVF Credit Union. To authenticate your account, you will receive a CODE via SMS text messaging or email. Therefore, you will need to update your TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION PREFERENCE to either Email Code or Text Message.

Please note that Profile / Settings changes require login to Online Banking at www.mycvf.org from your personal computer – you cannot do this from the mobile app on your phone.

  • Login to Mobile/Online Banking via the website at www.mycvf.org
  • Navigate to SETTINGS (Click on more widgets or click the down arrow next to your name in the top right corner)
  • Select the SECURITY tab
  • Under Two Factor Authentication, select your preferred method— EMAIL CODE or CODE VIA SMS. * indicates your preference.
  • Turn on Two Factor Authentication ONLY if you want to receive a message every time you login.
